Privacy Policy

1. Information you give us

When you request an offer we collect what you enter: vehicle details (VIN, year, make, model, mileage, condition, title status), your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and any notes you add.

Important: we save what you type as you type it. If you start the quote form and leave before submitting, the information you entered up to that point is still transmitted to us and stored. We do this so a buyer can follow up on an incomplete request — which is often what people want when a form gets interrupted. If you would rather we didn't keep it, email offers@wepaymoreforcars.com and we will delete it.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and how you interact with the site. We set first-party cookies including a random visitor identifier (wpm_vid), your marketing attribution (wpm_ft, wpm_lt), and a quote identifier (wpm_lead). Advertising partners set their own cookies, including Meta's _fbp and _fbc.

3. Advertising and analytics

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, Google Analytics 4, and (where enabled) the TikTok Pixel. These tools let us measure which ads produce actual car purchases and show ads to people who visited the site — including people who started a quote and did not finish.

When we send conversion data to Meta, contact details such as your email address and phone number are hashed with SHA-256 before transmission. Meta uses the hashes to match you to an account it already has; it does not receive readable contact details from us. This is standard advertising measurement, and Section 6 explains how to turn it off.

• Measuring advertising performance and reducing wasted ad spend

5. Who we share it with

Service providers who work on our behalf under contract: email and SMS delivery, hosting and analytics, CRM, vehicle history reports, lienholders and title agents, and payment processors. Advertising platforms receive the hashed conversion data described in Section 3.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not sell or rent your contact details to other car buyers or dealers. Sharing information with advertising platforms for targeted advertising may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under some state laws, which is why the opt-out below exists.

6. Your choices

Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states have comparable rights: to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising.

Use the control below to opt out of targeted advertising on this browser, or email offers@wepaymoreforcars.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line for any other request. We respond within 45 days and never charge for it. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals where technically feasible.

7. Calls and text messages

If you tick the consent box on our form, you agree that we may contact you by phone call, text message and email — including with automated technology — about your vehicle offer. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We record some calls for quality and training, and will tell you at the start of the call when we do.

8. Retention and security

Quote requests are retained for up to 120 days if no purchase results. Completed purchases are retained as long as Florida vehicle and tax law requires. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to staff who need it to do their job.

9. Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. You must be of legal age to sell a vehicle in Florida to use our services.
